Belgrade, Nov. 19, 2019
This year as well, the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta wanted to take active part in the “World Day of the Poor” thus affirming the millennial charism of the Order “Obsequium Pauperum” (“Assistance to the poor”) and its constant commitment to give people in need the chance of a life in health and dignity, both at an international level and in Serbia.
Thanks to precious collaboration with the Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Mons. Stanislav Hocevar, the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Serbia has organized a significant distribution of new clothing on Tuesday, Nov. 19. A large variety of trousers, jackets and coats have been distributed by the Project Manager of the “Make a WISH” Prof. Nenad Prokic all of which were collected and sent to the Embassy in Belgrade by the CISOM Director for Monza and Brianza Vincenzo Lucisano and his precious partners Antonio Saccenti and Antonio Sorvillo.
Another important supply of clothing was donated by our friends from the LDS Charities Serbia represented by the Brother John Benich and the Sister Debbie Benich.
