Belgrade, Oct. 7th, 2017
The Archdiocese of Belgrade has organized a reunion of young Catholics from all over Serbia in the capital.
“Bringing our youth together is very important – said H.E. Rev. Mons. Stanislav Hocevar, the Archbishop of Belgrade – because they live in specific circumstances as part of different ethnic minorities: Hungarian, Croat, Albanian, Ukrainian, Slovak, Check, Slovenian and Bulgarian, and are practically dispersed among the Serbian orthodox majority“.
The event has been preceeded by the pilgrimage to the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua and concluded with the Holy Mass presided by the Archbishop Hocevar.
After the Mass, the Ambassador Alberto di Luca conveyed greetings, wishes and words of incouragement from the Order of Malta to young people and reminded that apart from many happy and young persons present in the church, there are a lot of suffering children affected by serious illnesses waiting and hoping to be operated. The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta is committed to provide help for them within the project “Make a WISH“.
