President Aleksandar Vučić takes oath of office, assumes Serbian presidency

Serbia’s new president, Aleksandar Vučić, took the oath of office before the Serbian National Assembly in Belgrade and made his first speech as the Head of the State.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the country’s institutional, civil and religious authorities as well as the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Belgrade.

In the greeting after the ceremony, the Ambassador Alberto di Luca trasmitted warm congratulations and good wishes of the Lieutenant of the Grand Master of Sovereign Order of Malta Fra’ Giacomo Dalla  Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto. In a short conversation with the President friendly relations and close connections between Serbia and the Order of Malta were emphasized.
