This year, the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Belgrade, is organizing its National Day in the National Assembly of Serbia. This will be the occasion to inaugurate the photographic exhibition “Sovereign Order of Malta – 900 years at the service of the poor and the sick.“
On June 28, in the gardens of the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Belgrade, Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso hosted a reception to celebrate the National Day of the Order of Malta.
On the afternoon of June 27, Ambassador Francesco Maria Amoruso attended Mass at the Co-Cathedral of Christ the King in Belgrade. The service was concelebrated by H.E. Mons. Ladislav Nemet, Archbishop of Belgrade, in the presence of 36 bishops, as part of the Council of the Bishops' Conferences of Europe.
In the presence of the Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta Francesco Maria Amoruso, the inauguration ceremony of the new group therapy room was held at the Kovin Psychiatric Hospital, the largest psychiatric facility in the country with over 1,000 beds.
