Belgrade, July 27th
In the exemplary synthesis of tender humanity and impeccable professionalism in the Institution St. Petka in Izvor, near Paracin, it happens frequently that some needs emerge to which the “system” seems to fail to provide necessary solutions in a timely manner.
Always attentive to everything that can be used to improve the quality of life of 92 disabled girls hosted at the Centre, Mother Superior Glikerija informed us, in May, about her genuine WISH: a four-door, five-seater car in order to facilitate the transport from the Institution to the nearest village in situations of necessity and urgency.
Once again, the request for help was accepted by the friends of our Embassy from the Principality of Monaco and so a Chrysler car was delivered in recent days to the Embassy in Belgrade and registered today.
Therefore, the “Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta” Project continues also during the summer, in active and productive way. So, requests soon to be received will be the object, as always, of the most sensitive evaluation and of the subsequent concrete follow-up.
