The Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta in Serbia promptly joined, facilitating the participation of two students from Belgrade, accompanied by their teacher, in the international project called “Make a WISH to the Order of Malta for Education” organized by the Embassy of the Order to the Principality of Monaco in collaboration with the “Monaco MouseTrap Car Race” (https://www.mousetraprace.com/about-us).

The initiative is aimed at high school students to promote Science and Engineering with a fun race among model cars designed and built and powered from a real mouse trap.

“Monaco Mousetrap Car Grand Prix” is organized under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, with the collaboration of the Automobile Club of Monaco, Riva Monaco Boat Service and Engeco. The race will take place on May 13th, 2024, thereafter the students will be able to attend the historic Grand Prix on the Monte-Carlo circuit, on Sunday.

The project of the Embassy of the Order of Malta, in collaboration with the “Mouse Trap Car Race”, is part of one of the missions of the Sovereign Order of Malta and with the United Nations 2020 Agenda Nations: “eliminate gender inequalities and promote access to education and training, even for the most vulnerable, by ensuring that young people acquire sufficient and consolidated basic language and mathematical skills.”
