On January 6th (for the Orthodox Christmas Eve), inside the Assembly Hall of Kragujevac, took place the handover of the humanitarian aid from the Supermarkets Esselunga of Milan, delivered in Serbia thanks to the Lombardy Delegation of the Sovereign Order of Malta, as well as to the funds needed to meet the costs of transport, collected during the charity event organized last June in Milan, by Meritalia and Zepter International. The nearly 10 tons of food and clothing were delivered in forms of gift packages for children and adults, to approximately 200 people of whom 80 older members of the association, 60 to children, 2 to the association Crvena Sapa from the region of Sumadia, and 15 packages of care for children of elementary school Dositej Obradovic of ERDEC, Kragujevac. A part of the donation was also delivered to the elementary school for children with hearing problems and to the center “Knjeginje Ljubice”.
