Important moments of confrontation in three separate panels that have primarily addressed the issues of young volunteers, refugees and migrants, and the Management and Communication of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
For the Embassy to Serbia Ambassador Alberto di Luca presented the 2016 edition of the project Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta. The appreciation and interest in this project was such that the Order’s Embassy in Sofia announced that in 2017 it will make an edition of Make a WISH of its own in Bulgaria.
In addition to the operational work between the leaders of the Government of the Order and Heads of Mission in all the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, it was of particular interest the inauguration of another wooden sculpture dedicated to the Archangel Gabriel, and installed on the “Hill of Angels” in Trakai where already numerous other wooden sculptures, dedicated to various angels, are a major attraction for worshipers and tourists.
The meeting was also an opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Lithuanian Association of the Order of Malta, very active and effective in the country with 1,200 volunteers.
