Belgrade, November 27

The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej, received today in the Patriarchy of Belgrade the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Alberto di Luca, who illustrated the new project created by the Embassy called “Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta”.

His Holiness, with fatherly affection, has expressed his appreciation for this original initiative to be proposed to elementary schools of the Serbian territories recently hit by the severe floods.

At the end of the visit, in renewing to Ambassador di Luca his esteem for the humanitarian efforts of the Order in Serbia, the Patriarch expressed fervent good wishes for the success of the project and gave his blessing to the Ambassador and to all the collaborators of the Order in Serbia.
