Belgrade, March 16th
The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta has received the first letter in February concerning our project Make a WISH 2017. Just to remember, the Project for the year 2017 encouraged by the highest Authorities of the Sovereign Order of Malta and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, will provide for the difficult medical cases, to be taken care by a team of foreign doctors that will be sent to Belgrade for the purpose or, for cases of more complexity, the giving of medical care to the young patients in a foreign country.
The above mentioned cases should be priorly reported to the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Belgrade, with a detailed written description of the pathology, drawn by the medical staff (doctor or hospital) in charge of the case. (Text preferably in English language).
The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta has received a letter, written by the parents of the child Aleksandar M., with the request to support the uncommon therapies. It was immediately accepted as the WISH compatible with the “Rule Book” (click the website www.stage.degree361.net:8080/orderofmalta ) and financial means for the positive response were provided. As a result of the quick reaction of the donator from the Principality of Monaco, Aleksandar’s WISH to start the therapy was fulfilled.
The parents’ astonishment to such a rapid response to their “Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta” was natural and touching.
