As it is well-known, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected especially older people across the world.  Therefore, the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Serbia, immediately accepted a proposal made by H.E. Most Rev. Mons. Stanislav Hocevar, Archbishop of Belgrade, concerning the situation in a Gerontological Center in Mladenovac.

The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta together with their friends Latter-day Saint Charities Serbia, immediately took action to provide mutual help to this public institution: the Gerontological Center Mladenovac. The desire of this Center, which has been operating successfully since 1988 and which houses up to 310 elderly people, was to have bed linen, pajamas, underwear, canned tuna, confectionery products as well as personal and environmental hygiene products . In recent days, the delivery took place outside the Center as to respect the safety distance!
