Palace of Serbia
The humanitarian, social and hospitaller mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta is at the center of the calendar of meetings of Ambassador Alberto di Luca with members of the new Serbian government formed after the recent elections.
During the cordial meeting, held at the Palace of Serbia, Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, expressed to Ambassador di Luca attention and gratitude of his Government for the multiple and beneficial activities implemented in the country by the Embassy of the Order in Belgrade.
Ambassador di Luca informed the new Minister about the initiatives already carried out – with, in the foreground, the project Make a WISH – and those in progress and in expansion of areas of mutual cooperation.
Minister Zlatibor Loncar expressed the desire for a short visit to Belgrade by our Grand Hospitaller, H.E. Dominique de La Rochefoucauld, possibly on the occasion of the “closure” of the project Make a WISH 2016 that will end with the delivery of a much-desired bus by the children of the orphanage Sremcica.
Finally Ambassador di Luca has shown a preview to the Minister Zlatibor Lončar of the contents of the “Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta” project for 2017.
