A successful Charity Dinner organized by the spouses Luigi and Ulrike Ruggeri in mid-December, on the Cote d‘Azur, enabled the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Serbia to support the Project “A hot meal in a cold winter” during the whole winter 2017-2018 in favour of the humanitarian institution “Shelter for Children” in Belgrade.

This year we wanted to give a little surplus of joy and satisfaction to young residents of the Shelter so we organized, between Catholic and Orthodox Christmas, a celebration based on pizza.

This was the idea of the Director Danijela Stajkovic who is managing, with professionalism and love, the institution which will celebrate its 60 years of activity in 2018. Knowing her children well, the Director knew about their wish.

Naturally, the satisfaction was at high level because of surprise but also for the festive pizza served as “Hot meal” which was slightly different this time comparing to traditional Serbian cuisine.
